Singers did it their way

SURELY more could have been made of the ‘one-off’ talent show Our Way hosted by Alexander Armstrong, which was screened the other Saturday on BBC One, honouring Frank Sinatra, who would have been 100 this year.

Methinks if it had ran for several weeks, with a lot more acts, it would have been more pleasing to Sinatra fans.

OK, a young Scouse guy won the night with a superb rendering of Sinatra staple That’s Life, with the prize of performing at a Sinatra centenary concert to be held in London later this year.

But for the life of me, I still can’t fathom out what an Andrew Sisters tribute act was doing on the show.
