Thanks for fundraiser

Can I please say a big thank you to Daniel Clapham who opened the doors of his coffee shop Milk and Sugar, in Boldon Colliery, on the September 23 to raise money for various charities.

One of his chosen charities was The Women’s Cancer Detection Society which is based in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Gateshead.

The WCDS is only a very small charity, and we are currently in the process of trying to raise £250,000 to purchase a Tomosynthesis (mammogram machine) which is the latest development in breast screening.

If anyone would like to make a donation you can do so on @virginmoneygiving or contact me on Margaret Humphrey on 07947838270, or visit our website on www.wcdsgateshead.co.uk.

Many thanks again Daniel and please keep up the good work!

Margaret Humphrey
