Thanks to all for another successful Laffalang show

ONCE again we’d like to thank the Shields Gazette for its magnificent support for the Laffalang, this time the Valentine Laffalang, held at the Westovian Theatre, South Shields, last week.

Apart from people having a good laugh, the post-show collections raised money for Breast Cancer Campaign.

We’d also like to thank the wonderful six-strong Laffalang cast and the dedicated backstage crew, as well as the South Tyneside comedian Steffen Peddie, who was brilliant.

And not forgetting small but perfectly formed guest parts by BBC’s Jeff Brown and comedian Chris Ramsey.

As always, the Westovian Theatre team made everyone feel welcome before, during and after the show, and the Visitor Information Centre (VIC) team at the New Haven Sports Centre are always so enthusiastic.

But most importantly, we’d like to thank the 350 people who paid their hard-earned money to attend the Laffalang, giving us a record attendance on the Friday, which ended half an hour after schedule due to the laughter and applause.

The next, and fifth, Laffalang will be the Easter Laffalang and will be held at the Westovian Theatre on Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25.

There will be post-show collections for Breast Cancer Campaign.

With 13 brand new Easter-themed sketches, it will be egg-selent! The shows start at 7.30pm. Tickets only £10 from the TIC (0191) 42427788. See you there!
