The price of party loyalty

There is a website,, which makes available the voting records of every MP – who voted Aye and who Noe on every bill – including our own MP, Mrs Lewell-Buck.

It provides a measure of each MPs loyalty to their party too: Mrs Lewell-Buck is 100% loyal, having never in all her years in the House of Commons defied her party’s whips.

Am I to presume, given our MP’s steadfast and unquestioning loyalty to her party, that she will therefore vote with her new leader Jeremy Corbyn to scrap Trident, withdraw us from NATO, to raise taxes and to increase spending?

Will she also decry, as her new leader did, the death of Osama bin Laden as a “tragedy”?
