Newcastle United in talks with Arsenal over Joe Willock loan deal
Steve Bruce is looking to sign at least one player on loan before today’s transfer deadline, and the club has firmed up its interest in 21-year-old Willock, who Mikel Arteta is prepared to loan out for first-team experience.
Leicester City’s Hamza Choudhury is another target for the relegation-threatened club.

Hide AdSpeaking ahead of tomorrow’s home game against Crystal Palace, head coach Bruce said: "Things change in 24 hours. In the loan market, managers, coaches, CEOs are all looking at the balance of the squad and how many injuries they’ve got, so things change very, very quickly.
"We’ll see where we are today. We hope that we can do one or two things. It’s been a very difficult market because of the financial restraints we're all under at the moment. I don’t think there’s been a big transfer yet, and I can’t see there being one today if I’m being brutally honest."
