Paul Collingwood led the way as Durham Jets powered to an impressive NatWest T20 Blast victory over Nottinghamshire Outlaws tonight.
The former England T20 captain blasted an unbeaten 44 from just 22 balls to rally Durham from 111-6 to a defendable total of 178-7.
Collingwood then used his skilful variations of pace earned him one wicket for 22 runs in four overs as Notts never got to grips with the Durham attack and slipped to a 66-run defeat in the cold at the Emirates Riverside.
Notts needed 101 off the last seven overs, but they threw wickets away in desperation befire being dismissed for 112, with Barry McCarthy and Paul Coughlin finishing with three wickets each.
Durham have now won two of their first three games in the North Division. They are back in T20 action on Friday night, tackling Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston
