Arsenal have been tipped to launch a Premier League title challenge following their impressive end to last season – and are in the market for a new striker.
But their hopes of signing former Newcastle United target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been dashed.
Aubameyang is not for sale at Borussia Dortmund, according to the Daily Mirror, but the Daily Star reports the Gunners have instead switched their attention to Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
Also on the striker front, Bournemouth have entered the race to sign Charlie Austin, reports the Star.
Newcastle remain favourites to sign the QPR frontman but it appears West Ham United and Bournemouth are set to compete with them for the player.
And staying on the Newcastle front, the Daily Mail reports that after completing the signing of Anderlecht striker Aleksandar Mitrovic for £13.5million, the Magpiesare expected to land his team-mate Chancel Mbemba for £7.5million.
