The 19-year-old has become a key part of the Hornets side that currently sit at the top of the Division One table and have reached the last 32 of the FA Vase.

Robson joined Hebburn in October 2018 and went on to score seven goals in 24 appearances during his first season with the club.

That form saw the winger rewarded with a contract at the start of the current campaign and current Hornets manager Kevin Bolam described Robson as “an exciting talent” after seeing him put pen-to-paper.

His form has carried on into the current season and the youngster has scored one goal in his ten appearances so far.

However, his future would now appear to lie away from the Energy Check Sports Ground after his transfer request was “reluctantly” accepted by the Hornets.

In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the club said: The football club have today received a request from contracted player Jack Robson to be placed on the transfer list with immediate effect.

“The club's board have reluctantly accepted this request from a player that is a fans' favourite and who we believe had a great future at the club as one of our upcoming younger talents.

“Although disappointing, we understand it's part of football and we therefore would like to work with the player to get the best outcome for both the player and the club.

“All enquiries are to be made to first team manager Kevin Bolam.”
