JAMES Milner is set to miss Manchester City’s game with his former club Newcastle United tomorrow.
The English international has been ruled out of the Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium with a knee injury.
Milner, who left Newcastle in 2008, has been in impressive form this season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, and he is also a doubt for the midweek Champions League encounter with Barcelona.
Pellegrini said: “The only player that has a problem is James Milner, he has a problem in his knee and he is not available for tomorrow.
“It is not very, very serious, but he couldn’t work in the whole week so we will see how he improves in the next days, but he has a kick in his ligament in his knee.”
