Fulham are closing in on a deal for Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Rafa Benitez took the Newcastle United striker to Portugal for tonight's friendly against Porto.
Mitrovic could be involved at the Estadio do Dragao, having reported back for pre-season training this week after being given an extended break because of his involvement with Serbia's World Cup campaign.
The 23-year-old is not in Benitez's plans, and Newcastle have been involved in lengthy talks with Fulham.
Mitrovic spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage, and his goals helped the club win promotion through the play-offs.
Newcastle have been demanding £18million for Mitrovic, and the Gazette understands that there has been some movement in talks.
Benitez will given an indication of how close the two clubs are when he hands in his teamsheet at the Estadio do Dragao.
The late Sir Bobby Robson will be remembered at the game, which forms part of Porto's 125th birthday celebrations.
