Hebburn Town boss Scott Oliver yet again has a thread-bare squad to choose from for their Northern League Division Two home clash with Darlington RA.

Oliver said: “We picked up two injuries in our win at Easington. Paul Chow picked up a knee injury and will be out for a month.

“Craig Malley completed the game, but has a slight hamstring strain. On the plus side, Channon North and Kris Hughes return.

“Tomorrow is a game we will be expected to win and I will have a few selection issues, but as Monday showed, substitutes will play a big part this season.

“We make no bones about it, anything but promotion will be a disapointment with the players we have signed.

“We can’t keep missing 10-plus chances in a game as it is costing us dearly.”
