Jarrow boss wary of Billingham threat

Jarrow welcome Billingham Town to Perth Green tomorrow (3pm) hit by a number of injuries.

Boss Dave Bell said: “We have Kieran Featherstone, Max Kirkham and goalkeeper Gary Frater unavailable, with Joss Carmichael stepping in for Frater.

“Carmichael is a very experienced and we are delighted he joins us for tomorrow’s game.

“Josh Allan is injured and we have injury doubts over Nick Quinn, David Smith, and Dave Fittis.

“Dean Martin begins his suspension, but returning to the squad are Kai Elliott, Kris Allen and Matthew McFarlane.

“The Billingham game represents a really tough game for us, but we are also pleased with our start to the season.

“Our last three games have resulted in clean sheets, which is really pleasing, but not something we are complacent about, as we know Billingham can score goals.

“We are still finding our way in this league and know we have to perform at our best to have any chance of getting anything out of this game.

“Our focus remains on improving each game we will need to do this against a very good Billingham side.”
