Jarrow head to Darlington RA tomorrow (3pm) boosted by the return of Steve Graham and Kai Elliot.
However, Jarrow are nursing a couple of injuries to Nick Quinn and Dave Fittis after their hard fought 1-0 victory over Hebburn Town on Wednesday evening in front of 240 spectators at Perth Green CA.
Johnny Hurst scored the only goal of the game direct from a free-kick in the 89th minute to give the Jarrovians their second win and first clean sheet of the season.
Chris Hutchinson, joint manager with Dave Bell said: “This was a tough test against our local rivals, who were the better team in the second half.
“However, we were organised and disciplined throughout the team and we knew we would get an opportunity to score and Johnny Hurst did just that.
“Man-of-match Gary Frater was in great form in goal, frustrating the Hebburn strikers and we just managed to pinch it in the end.
“We face a difficult test away at Darlington RA, but we must reflect on a tough, but happy start to the season. Hopefully, we can come away with a point or three to continue our new adventure within the Northern League.”
