Motor dealer kicks off new partnership with South Shields FC

Jennings Ford Direct, part of the Jennings Motor Group, has announced a sponsorship deal with the Northern League club.

The new partnership with the Newcastle Road-based motor dealership and the club was launched with the unveiling of a new first-team away kit ahead of the start of the 2016/2017 season.

The Mariners will kick-off their season at Marske United in the FA Cup on Saturday.

In addition to sponsoring the first-team kit with the company’s branding on the back of the shirts, the Jennings Ford Direct dealership is also providing a new set of strips for South Shields FC’s ‘Blues’ Under-8s team.

Jennings was one of the first main Ford dealers in the UK to be appointed by Ford Motor Company to sell its cars in 1917.
