Newcastle United once again linked with attacker

Andre Ayew is a target for Newcastle United this summer, according to Ghanasoccernet.

The forward is a free agent after being released by Swansea City and the Magpies have shown an interest in the Ghana international in previous widows.

The 31-year-old narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League with The Swans last season, missing out to Brentford in the play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

Ayew, however, hasn’t played in the top-flight since 2018 but could still present an interesting option to Steve Bruce.

Liverpool won’t sign Newcastle United-linked defender

Jurgen Klopp has decided not to sign Ozan Kabak for Liverpool on a permanent basis.

That’s according to German publication Bild.

Kabak joined Liverpool on loan from Schalke on deadline day in January amidst a growing defensive crisis at Anfield.

Newcastle United have also been linked with a move for the Turkey international.

Leicester City too are said to be interested in the 21-year-old and can offer him Europa League football next season alongside international teammate Caglar Soyuncu at the King Power Stadium.
