Newcastle United 'make contact' over move for Premier League striker
Newcastle United are keen to sign Olivier Giroud on loan, according to a report.
The club has reportedly “made contact” with Chelsea over a move for the striker.
Newcastle were told that a move would only be possible if the club was able to find a replacement, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Steve Bruce said yesterday that the club had had “a couple of knock-backs” in this month’s transfer window.
Joelinton, United’s £40million summer signing, has struggled up front so far this season.
