Aleksandar Mitrovic DROPPED for Palace, Papiss Cisse and Jack Colback start

Newcastle United's Aleksandar Mitrovic has been dropped by Steve McClaren.

Head coach McClaren has recalled Papiss Cisse to the starting XI for this afternoon's game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Mitrovic was disappointing in last weekend's 3-0 home defeat to Leicester City.

Fit-again midfielder Jack Colback replaces the injured Cheick Tiote, who should be fit for next weekend's home game against Liverpool.

Newcastle are 17th in the Premier League, while Alan Pardew's Palace are 10th.
