Aleksandar Mitrovic has spoken about his relationship with Newcastle United's fans ahead of tonight's game against Norwich City.
The striker quickly made an impression on the club's supporters after joining from Anderlecht last year.
Mitrovic – who scored three goals against Norwich last season – feels they like his "mentality".
And the 22-year-old, dismissed twice last season, has again insisted that he won't attempt to change his style on the pitch.
Asked about his relationship with fans, Mitrovic told the match programme: "I think they like my mentality. I like to fight. I like to do everything to win the game, and for every game I will give everything.
"I think that's why the fans liked me – that spirit I have. I cannot change this – that's me. I will keep going, and I will keep doing this."
Mitrovic says he and his family are at home on Tyneside.
"I feel like I'm home," said the Serbia international. "The city, the fans – everything about the club is amazing. So it's really nice for me and my family. We are happy here."
