Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson is set to join Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
The Championship club want to take the 31-year old on a one-month deal, according to the Express and Star.
Williamson has made just two Capital One Cup appearances for Newcastle so far this season.
And the 31-year-old could make his Wolves debut against against Birmingham City on Saturday.
UPDATE: Wolves this afternoon confirmed that Williamson has joined the club on a one-month loan.
Williamson said: “I’m pleased to be here – it’s a great club and a great opportunity to come and play some games and impress and see if I can add something to the club.
“It’s a great club with a great history.
“It’s about playing games, proving yourself and pushing forward for the future.”
