Tim Krul and Achraf Lazaar have left Newcastle United on season-long loan deals.
The Gazette revealed earlier today that Krul was a target for Brighton and Hove Albion.
And Newcastle tonight confirmed that the 29-year-old had been reunited with Chris Hughton at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton manager Hughton said: "I know Tim from my time at Newcastle, and he is an excellent professional that has a vast amount of experience at both club and international level.
“He’s played an extensive amount of games in the Premier League, as well as playing in the Europa League, and his experience will also help benefit the other keepers in the squad.”
Krul has a year left on his St James's Park contract.
Meanwhile, Lazaar, signed from Palermo last summer, has joined Serie A side Benevento Calcio.
