'Credit where it's due' – Newcastle United praise and positivity aplenty as Twitter reacts to the Magpies' Everton win

Newcastle United made light work of Premier League high-fliers Everton at St James’s Park despite some late, late drama.

And it’s fair to say #NUFC on Twitter saw the positive side of the Magpies’ display.

@Symons_uk – Credit due for that 2nd half performance. Didn’t really see it coming based on the first. How good is it that we have a capable Centre Forward too!"

@SholaGianfranco – “Praise where it’s due. Today wasn’t as ugly as it has been of late. The reality is despite a dull first half we limited Everton to very few shots barring the last 6 mins. Equally if it where not for two world class saves by Olsen we could of been 3/4 or up. Better.”

@scully161280 – “I'm saying #Almiron was motm today. He must've covered every blade of grass, was everywhere.”

@danlaing1983 – “Played pretty decent against a good Everton team. Really good having an actual goal scorer in the team now too.”
