Emil Krafth, Jamaal Lascelles, Ciaran Clark and Dwight Gayle have all been recalled, replacing injured trio Javier Manquillo, Fabian Schar and Callum Wilson, while Jeff Hendrick is suspended.

Here’s how some NUFC supporters reacted to the team news:

@Baggytrousers79: Quite like the look of that team. Don't think I'm going to enjoy the result. But Hey Ho. Lets go!

@Carmonte: Gayle will at least get into dangerous positions. I'm happy with him in the team but the squad is so threadbare

@mc_chug: Great line-up, we know we’re not expected to win but a line-up like this without playing five at the back. Just go out there and express yourself.

@AdamQuinnin: Hayden back in midfield and Gayle starting instead of Joelinton. We have half a chance here lads and lasses

@NUFC_org: As good as we have I’d say. Delighted to see Gayle mind

Dwight Gayle.Dwight Gayle.
Dwight Gayle.

@nufcsanjay: Pretty much as expected then, the strongest XI we could've put out tbh. Would've liked to see Dubravka back in. Big opportunity for Gayle to impress.

@thomas_millman: Pleased it looks like the normal formation and not five at the back (hopefully). Personally I would have gone for Joelinton to give him a chance in this system, but I don’t mind Gayle and hopefully he can do a job. Gayle is more of a goal threat so makes sense to replace Wilson.
