Speaking on Match of the Day 2, following the Blades' 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon, the ex-England international spoke highly of Chris Wilder's side, claiming: "They play some of the best football in the league...I'm enjoying watching them play more than anybody; they play great stuff."

However, Jenas also echoed Wilder's frustrations with his side's inability to put away their glut of chances at Molineux, pointing it out as their key weakness as a side, and contended: "He (Wilder) must have been really frustrated, they created so many chances, I felt like they dominated at least seventy minutes of this game.

"But that (wasting chances) is happening a little bit too much, where they're getting in great positions and not punishing teams, and you just knew that Wolves were going to get back into this game...punish them, have that killer instinct."

He concluded: "I think they just lack that little bit of extra quality and that killer instinct when they need it. They need to take games away from teams; today's a game they should have won."

The Magpies will be hopeful that the Blades remain unable to find their cutting edge in their encounter this week, in what is set to be a challening match for Steve Bruce's men.

The south Yorkshire side have defied their critics with a stellar start to the 2019/20 campaign, and Newcastle will have to be at their best to get a solid result against Wilder's rigorously disciplined team.
