Newcastle United’s Rolando Aarons has been given a lift ahead of Sunday’s relegation decider at St James’s Park.
The winger – whose season has been wrecked by injury – has been named in England’s Under-20 squad for the Toulon Tournament.
Aarons made his comeback from a six-month spell out with hamstring and thigh problems last weekend.
And the 19-year-old is likely to be again on the bench for Sunday’s final game of the season against West Ham United.
Relegation-threatened Newcastle need to win to be certain of Premier League survival.
Aidy Boothroyd’s England Under-20s, meanwhile, will compete in Group B of annual Toulon competition in the south of France with China, Ivory Coast, Mexico and Morocco.
The tournament kicks off at the end of the month.
