Hatem Ben Arfa has been told to train with Paris Saint-Germain's reserve team – three years after suffering a similar fate at Newcastle United.
Ben Arfa came close to joining former club Nice in this summer's transfer window.
The proposed move reportedly broke down after the 30-year-old demanded that PSG pay his contract up.
Ben Arfa, made to train with United's Under-21 side by then-manager Alan Pardew in 2014, has been told to train with the Ligue 1 club's reserve team by manager Unai Emery.
The France international joined the club last summer after returning to form and fitness at Nice.
Ben Arfa was released from his Newcastle contract in 2015 after falling out with Pardew.
