Despite coming away from Molinuex with a point, United are counting the cost this evening with Paul Dummett and Dwight Gayle suffering hamstring issues and Joelinton a groin.

Post-match Bruce said: “"Both Gayle and Dummett were hamstring injuries. Dummett is the other leg [than his previous injury]. Joelinton had a groin. We'll see how we are [with players returning] tomorrow."

Martin Dubravka added: “Hopefully the injuries aren’t bad ones and they can be ready for next game.”

But Dinnery, an injury analyst for Premier Injuries, doubts that prognosis on Gayle and Dummett.

He said: “FA Cup replay on Tuesday (no chance). And considering both look to be recurrences - groin and hamstring respectively Dummett/Gayle - then highly unlikely IMO.”
