Jesus Gamez handed his Newcastle debut in EFL Cup tie

Rafa Benitez has named his team for Newcastle United's EFL Cup tie against Cheltenham Town.

Newcastle take on the League Two club at St James's Park tonight (7.45pm kick-off).

Jesus Gamez, signed from Atletico Madrid this summer, makes his debut, while Benitez has also handed a full bow to 20-year-old defender Jamie Sterry.

Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic returns from a four-game suspension.
