LATE CHANGE: Karl Darlow in goal against West Brom after Rob Elliot hit by sickness

Aleksandar Mitrovic has been passed fit to play against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The Newcastle United striker has been struggling with an ankle problem, but he is in Steve McClaren's side at The Hawthorns.

McClaren had named an unchanged starting XI despite the team having played against Everton at St James's Park less than 48 hours ago.

But goalkeeper Rob Elliot felt unwell during the warm-up at The Hawthorns, and Karl Darlow will starts in a late change.

In-form Elliot will be on the bench.

Newcastle are third-bottom of the league, and level on points with 17th-placed Norwich City.
