Championship-leading Newcastle United side are at Elland Road this afternoon.

Rafa Benitez's side take on Leeds United looking to extend an eight-match winning run in the televised fixture (1.15pm kick-off).

Newcastle are two points ahead of second-placed Brighton and Hove Albion, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa on Friday night.

It is the first league meeting between the two clubs at Elland Road since August 2003, when Alan Shearer netted twice in a 2-2 draw.

Leeds manager Garry Monk said: "Newcastle are going to be a big test for us.

"They have a fantastic manager and one of the best squads in the division. They rightly sit at the top of the table and have been on a good run of late."
