Ayoze Perez says he's happy at Newcastle United – on and off the pitch.
The forward is being tracked by Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the January transfer window.
But United head coach Steve McClaren feels it would be a mistake for Perez to leave St James's Park given the need for him to play week in, week out.
For his part, Perez insists he is "comfortable" with the style of play at the club –and life on Tyneside.
Speaking in the programme for this afternoon's Premier League game against Leicester City, the 22-year-old said: "It's not just about the goals.
"Of course, I am a striker, and so I need to score, but the football that we are playing is right for me.
"It is nice to watch and be a part of. It is a style that everyone can enjoy.
"I feel really comfortable with everything here and that is important, because in football to be confident you also need to be comfortable."
