Tim Krul: Excellent performance, commanded his area well. Great save with legs second half............9

Chancel Mbemba: Played right-back and coped with Memphis after shaky opening. Could tell he was out of position but did a job..............8

Fabricio Coloccini: A real captain’s performance, led from the front and defended well............9

Steven Taylor: Him and Coloccini were the standout performers. Taylor was excellent...............9

Massadio Haidara: Threw himself at cross 1st half and helped keep a clean sheet. Booked.7

Jack Colback: Him and Anita struggled in the opening 20 minutes but grew into the game..........................6

Ayoze Perez: Restored to the line-up and didn’t disappoint. Drew a lot of fouls and worked hard. Put in a real shift on a warm day in Manchester..........7

Georginio Wijnaldum: Provided support to Mitrovic. Worked hard but much more to come though you feel.............7

Aleksandar Mitrovic: Put a solid shift in and hit the crossbar. Led the line well. Strong and willing to take on defence. Controlled temper too, which is always a bonus..........8
