Matty Longstaff left out of Newcastle United squad as Allan Saint-Maximin returns to starting XI
Matty Longstaff has been left out of Newcastle United’s squad for this afternoon’s game against Southampton.
However, neither Longstaff, nor his elder brother Sean, are on the bench at St James’s Park.
The 20-year-old hasn’t featured since last month’s Premier League defeat to Arsenal.
Sean, meanwhile, hasn’t played since the club’s loss to Sheffield United, and Bruce yesterday said the 23-year-old needed to “roll his sleeves up”.
