Newcastle United kept their survival hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at St James’s Park.

Andros Townsend was the goal hero with a stunning free-kick, but at the other end Karl Darlow put in an excellent performance, including saving Yohan Cabaye’s penalty.
