SHANE Ferguson and Kevin Mbabu have had to delay their arrivals at Rangers – because of injury.
Ferguson and Mbabu joined the club on loan this week along with Newcastle United team-mates Haris Vuckic, Remie Streete and Gael Bigirimana.
Vuckic, Bigirimana and Streete are in training at the club’s Murray Park base.
But Ferguson and Mbabu are receiving treatment on Tyneside, and will join their colleagues when they are fit.
Rangers manager Kenny McDowall said: “Three of them arrived and two of them will be coming the next three or four weeks – they are injured.”
McDowall also revealed that he had been told he must play the quintet.
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has a controversial 8.92 per cent stake in Rangers.
