Gael Bigirimana was sent off playing for Newcastle United's Under-21s in a goal-laden game against Derby County this afternoon.
Peter Beardsley's side were beaten 6-4 at the Championship club's training ground.
Bigirimana, Ivan Toney, Callum Williams and Sean Longstaff were on target in the Under-21 Premier League game.
Bigirimana opened the scoring in the 18th minute, but Derby hit back with two unanswered goals before the break.
Ivan Calero made it 3-1 after the restart, but Toney pulled a goal back for the penalty spot.
Offrande Zanzala netted a fourth for Derby before Williams struck for United.
Calero scored his second of the afternoon to make it 5-3 before Bigirimana has dismissed for two bookable offences.
Longstaff netted United's fourth goal to make it 5-4, but Mason Bennett ended hopes of a late equaliser with a sixth for the home side, who had former Newcastle goalkeeper Jonathan Mitchell between the posts.
