Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has a knee injury and could be out of action for two weeks.
The Serbian striker was not included in the squad who arrived in La Manga today for a five-day training camp and a friendly against Lillestrom.
Head coach Steve McClaren has confirmed that the 21-year-old frontman has picked up an injury.
“He’s got a knee injury,” McClaren said. “We’re only bringing players here who can actually train over the next four days, and play in the game on Saturday.
“Mitro has a medial ligament injury, so it could be a couple of weeks - we’re hoping not too long.”
