Steve McClaren has named an unchanged Newcastle United side for this evening's game against Chelsea.

Head coach McClaren has opted against bringing in Jack Colback at left-back at Stamford Bridge (5.30pm kick-off).

Makeshift full-back Rolando Aarons will again line up in defence, with fit-again Colback among the substitutes.

Striker Emmanuel Riviere, back from long-term injury, is also on the bench.

Sunderland moved to within a point of Newcastle after their 2-1 win over Manchester United at the Stadium of Light this afternoon.

CHELSEA: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Matic; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Diego Costa. Subs: Begovic, Baba, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Kenedy, Remy.
