Steve McClaren has named an unchanged side for this afternoon's game at White Hart Lane.

Newcastle United are looking to beat Tottenham Hotspur away for the third success season (4pm kick-off).

And head coach McClaren has kept faith with the team that started against Liverpool last weekend.

Siem de Jong keeps his place ahead of Ayoze Perez, who is on the bench along with Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Newcastle are 18th in the table and a point adrift of safety. Tottenham, unbeaten since the first weekend of the campaign, are fifth.

Meanwhile, McClaren included South Shields-born midfielder Liam Smith in his squad.

Smith impressed in Friday afternoon's 2-1 Under-21 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the club's training ground.

McClaren promoted Smith, 20, to the squad after watching his performance in the behind-closed-doors game.
