Steve McClaren will face the media later today ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup tie against Watford.

Newcastle United's head coach is mulling over his options for the third-round tie at Vicarage Road.

And Rolando Aarons has given McClaren a welcome lift by declaring himself fit and ready for a comeback.

The winger has been sidelined since September.

Goalkeeper Rob Elliot has been speaking about the cup tie and his contribution this season.

Meanwhile, former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, now in charge of Crystal Palace, has ruled out a move for Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin.

Austin was a target for United last summer, but the club is unlikely to make a move in this month's transfer window.
