Rafa Benitez is finalising his plans for Saturday's must-win home game against Swansea City.

Relegation-threatened Newcastle United must take all three points to keep their faint hopes of Premier League survival alive.

But Daryl Janmaat is set to miss the game with the hand injury he suffered punching a dressing room wall at the St Mary's Stadium last week.

Newcastle's 3-1 defeat to Southampton left the club 19th in the league and six points adrift of safety.

Janmaat is also doubtful for the club's relegation run-in.

And today we look at United manager Benitez's options at right-back.

Newcastle's Jonjo Shelvey left Swansea in January, and one of his former team-mates has a blunt message for the midfielder ahead of the game.

Finally, a United midfielder has made a vow to the club ahead of his return next season from a loan spell.
