Steve McClaren is the bookmakers' favourite to be the Premier League's next managerial casualty.

Newcastle are second-bottom after Saturday's 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

But the club's under-pressure head coach is safe – for now.

McClaren, tasked with delivering a top-eight finish when he was appointed in the summer, says there is "no panic" at St James's Park.
