Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren wants more squad players to go out on loan - with Adam Armstrong the perfect example at Coventry
Armstrong has been a revelation at Coventry City this season, and McClaren feels he it was important for the 18-year-old to complete his football education on loan.
McClaren said: "Armstrong’s a perfect example. I talked to (Coventry manager) Tony Mowbray, and he said ‘well, he does this, and we’re teaching him to do that and improve this’. So I said ‘perfect. Carry on’."

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the race to sign Yoan Gouffran on loan - with Charlton also keen to take the French forward on loan.
Newcastle have until November 25 to loan Gouffran out until the new year, before the loan window shuts.
And finally, Rolando Aarons needs a spell out on loan before he is ready for Premier League football, according to Steve McClaren.
The winger is battling to play again this year after suffering a foot injury in training.
