A poor corner by Kyle Scott hits the first man but goes straight back to the midfielder. He drops the ball into Ludwig Francillette on the edge of the area, but his powerful shot is straight at George Watkins.

A mistake by right back Ryan Barrett as he gifts the ball to Fulham in the United area. Dan Langley makes a good low stop to deny Ben Davis before Jean Pierre Tiehi hammers home, via Langley, for 1-0.

26 - Vilca goes close

Debutant Rodrigo Vilca ghosts inside one Fulham defender before chopping back and attempting to curl past George Wickens but the Newcastle No10 fires high and wide.

Dan Langley has to stretch full length to deny Terry Ablade’s left-footed strike down low. Fulham working their way into this one.

Stan Flaherty floated into the middle and curled a left-footed effort from 20 yards over the top. If the former Arsenal youngster had looked up, he would have seen Achraf Lazaar free to his left in the area.

A driving run forward from Newcastle United defender Ciaran Clark opened things up for Yannick Toure - but having been put through the young striker skewed wide with his left foot. Excellent stuff from Clark - the run and the through ball.
