Bruce, under pressure at relegation-threatened Newcastle United, is reportedly keen to bring Gateshead-born Graeme Jones to St James’s Park.
It’s reported that Jones, first-team coach at Bournemouth, is “in talks” with Newcastle over a backroom role. Bournemouth have made no comment, though the Gazette understands that there has not yet been an official approach for Jones, who was part of the coaching team that took charge of this morning’s training session at the Championship club.
