Newcastle United travel chaos as Arsenal journey hit by Storm Dennis
Storm Dennis has caused travel chaos for Newcastle United ahead of their Premier League return tomorrow.
The Gazette has learned the Magpies' flight to London from Newcastle Airport this afternoon has been delayed by three hours due to strong winds and heavy rain.
News is awaited on whether United's flight will be given the green light, or alternative arrangements will have to be hastily put together.
United take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow afternoon kick-off 4.30pm in the Premier League.
Storm Dennis has caused a number of cancellations to games across the UK, while the Met Office has issued amber and yellow weather warnings up and down the land.
