Newcastle United want to sign Championship defender, shock new favourite for Arsenal job, and more
Newcastle United were poor in defeat to Aston Villa on Monday evening, and will be keen to bounce back with a win on Saturday. Unfortunately they are up against Manchester City, which is far from an easy task. Here are the latest Premier League rumours on Thursday, November 28.
Newcastle United have already been linked with a Championship star in Jarrod Bowen, and have again been linked with an EFL prospect today.
The Daily Mirror report that Nottingham Forest centre-back Joe Worrall is of interest to Steve Bruce and his team, and Newcastle have reportedly scouted the defender extensively this season.
Worrall has been a regular for Forest, and Newcastle will apparently face competition from Everton for his signature.
The 22-year-old defender hails from Nottinghamshire, and previously thrived during a loan spell at Rangers.
