HATEM Ben Arfa’s been told to find a new club by Newcastle United – and learn from the “mistakes” which have blighted his career.
Hull City will terminate Ben Arfa’s season-long loan next month.
Ben Arfa – who is out of contract in the summer – is reportedly back in his native France working on his fitness while his represenatives look for another club.
Hull manager Steve Bruce lost patience with Ben Arfa last month.
Bruce felt he wasn’t working hard enough to justify a place in his team, a complaint which echoed those of Pardew while he was at St James’s Park.
There is no way back for the 27-year-old at Newcastle.
Ben Arfa – who had been a popular figure among fans – was made to train with the club’s development squad before joining Hull on loan.
“The answer is really in Hatem’s lap, because he’s got an opportunity to find another club,” said Pardew.
“He needs to take on board some lessons he’s learned here and at Hull, because they’re staring him in the face now.
“This is a player who has played his best football here at Newcastle under me.
“I’m disappointed that has happened at Hull for him, and I hope that he finds a club where he feels that he is wanted and that he performs at the right level at the right time and in all the right places.”
