With just three weeks of the transfer window remaining, Newcastle and their Premier League rivals continue to chase deals.
And reports this morning suggest that one deal involving Newcastle United could be close to completion - and would provide a big boost to Rafa Benitez.

Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is closing in on a £20m switch to Premier League rivals Fulham. The striker is currently on holiday following the World Cup, but reports suggest that his move to Craven Cottage will be completed shortly after his return. Fenerbahce were linked with a late swoop for the Serbian international, but Fulham now look set to seal the deal. Such an outgoing would prove a welcome boost to Rafa Benitez, who would hope to be able to reinvest the fee received in improving his squad (London Evening Standard)
