Rafa Benitez's expecting Newcastle United to be active in the final days of the transfer market.
The club has spent just over £35million on six players so far this summer.
And Benitez is hopeful of pushing through more deals before next Thursday's transfer deadline.
However, United's manager, speaking ahead of tomorrow's home game against West Ham United, also needs to move players out of the club.
Striker Emmanuel Riviere has joined Metz, while forward Siem de Jong is "close" to re-signing for Ajax.
Benitez said: "Sometimes you can do business, sometimes you can't but we're looking for solutions.
"I expect to be quite busy. We're working to find solution to some players.
"I can announce that Riviere has gone to Metz, and de Jong is close to going to Ajax, so we're working on that and trying to bring in players too."
Benitez must confirm the club's 25-man Premier League squad once the transfer window closes.
"We have too many players," he said. "Don't forget, we need 25 players. We have around 31."
