Newcastle United have offered three players new contracts at St James's Park.
The club today published its retained list, and, as previously reported, defenders Jesus Gamez and Massadio Haidara will leave St James's Park when their contracts expire at the end of the month.
A further 18 Under-23 players will also leave the club along with 25-year-old defender Curtis Good.
Manager Rafa Benitez said: "I would like to say thank you to the players who are leaving us this summer for their hard work and commitment while with the club.
"Letting players go is always a difficult decision and I wish each of them only the best for their football careers."
Yannick Aziakonou, Kyle Cameron, Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, Stuart Findlay, Owen Gallacher, Macaulay Gillesphey, Mackenzie Heaney, Tom Heardman, Jack Hunter, Ben Kitchen, Michael Newberry, Brendan Pearson, Callum Smith, Liam Smith, Craig Spooner, Dan Ward, Callum Williams and Paul Woolston have been released by United.
However, Newcastle have offered striker Luke Charman and winger Callum Roberts new deals, and the club also revealed that it is "in negotiations" with forward Alex Gilliead over a new contract.
Gilliead spent last season on loan at Bradford City.
Scholars Thomas Allan, Lewis Cass, Matthew Longstaff, Oliver Walters, Kelland Watts and Adam Wilson have all been offered professional contracts by United.
